On 10 February 2012, Hemant Sahai and Navin Syiem from HSA Advocates leave for the HSA Advocates – Trek for Life (Chadar 2012). The Chadar Trek involves a nine day trek on the frozen Zanskar River in Ladakh at an altitude of 12,500 feet and temperatures that often go down to minus 30.
Hemant and Navin are heading off to Chadar to raise funds for the Indian Cancer Society, which promotes cancer awareness and education and offers high quality-low cost cancer screening facilities across India.
