Seminar On “Breast Cancer in Young women” Sunday 6th October 2013 India International Centre (New Hall) New Building (Gate No-I) Max Mueller Marg, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi Breast Cancer Can Strike the Young Breast Cancer can happen at any age, but alarmingly the number of young women affected by it is on the increase. Statistics show that 1 in 8 will get it. Cancer is a lifestyle disease, affecting young & old alike. However, rapid change in lifestyle of young women, especially in urban India, make this trend of increasingly younger women falling prey to cancer a worrying phenomenon. Cancer Sahyog, the emotional support Group of Indian Cancer Society Delhi, organise an annual seminar highlighting issue of importance to patients & Survivors alike. An eminent panel of experts will address Risk Factor / Prevention / Treatment /Care/ Coping Skills and living with Hope. They will cover issues that are sometimes swept away in technology & treatment trauma, such as fertility, Sexuality, and life after Cancer.
