The Faculty Development Programme (FDP), initiated by the Indian Cancer Society, Delhi, is an online programme that helps teachers understand cancer awareness, prevention and early detection. Participants learn from doctors, oncologists, educators and public health experts through practical sessions and panel discussions. Teachers can then guide and inspire students towards healthier choices, and mentor them in community outreach. Train a teacher. Inspire young minds. Spread cancer awareness.
The Indian Cancer Society partnered with the Aashwasan Foundation to host two impactful mental health awareness programs this past month.
Through its unique Aashwasan Science® methodology, the Foundation conducted “Coping with Stress and Anxiety” on 30th July 2026 for ICS Delhi Branch volunteers and “Self-Awareness: The Foundation for Mental Wellbeing” on 14th August 2026 for over 100 faculty members participating in ICS’s Faculty Development Program.
Both sessions highlighted the importance of managing stress, understanding our emotions, and nurturing mental well-being.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Aashwasan Foundation for these enriching sessions.
The Indian Cancer Society was founded in Mumbai in 1951 by the renowned oncologist Dr. DJ Jussawala
