- Former Member of Review Board & Ethics Committee (12 Years) at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, New Delhi.
- Member of Global Advisory Committee of the Our Views, Our Voices initiative of the NCD Alliance and people living with NCDs (PLWNCDs) in June 2020.
- Founder member of the APAC HPV Consultation. She represents India on the Board. Other countries are Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong & Australia.
- Member of National Managing Committee ICS.
- First President of ICS Cancer Sahyog – 1991 – 1995

- 2014 – Lifetime Achievement Award for long years of dedication to Cancer Control
- 2013 -WHO Regional Director’s Appreciation for contribution to Public Education on hazards of Tobacco use.
- 2012 – Ray of Hope Award at an International Conference of Oncologists in Bangalore.
- Alumnus of UICC & ACSU. Presented papers at various International & National Conferences. Selected as one of 500 of the World’s Cancer Leaders in August 2009, at the Livestrong Conference in Dublin, Ireland.
