Set up in 2005, Prashanti encourages a serene return to normal living after cancer. Patients and Survivors are encouraged to explore the various therapies on offer, and use the one of their choice to better their quality of life.
16,500 patients since 2005 have received complimentary therapies
1,409 patients have received DEXA scan since 2009
535 patients since 2007 received arm care support
5,500 children received home cooked meals since 2006
248 children have received protein support since 2016
Survivors and caregivers are encouraged to explore the various complementary therapies offered for holistic healing to improve their quality of life.
Breast cancer rehab unit offers advice and practical guidance on prosthesis fitting for restoring body image; lymphedema and arm care through machines, exercise, and overall guidance on their special requirements like wigs, arm sleeves, diet, etc.
Once a week, children and their parents come for a nutritious home-cooked meal and also avail of the various therapies on offer.
Supplementary Protein Nutrition Programme for children is conducted through AIIMS and Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalaya.
Prashanti is located at B-108, 1st floor, Chittaranjan Park, New Delhi 110019 and works 5 days a week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
